The Power of Our Mind and Emotions

We are more than our thoughts and emotions. Our thoughts and emotions are how our mind communicates with the body. We'll explore how our perceptions of the world create our reality and affect us on all levels. We’ll deepen our understanding of how stress affects us and learn practices that help us respond rather than react.
Week 1 - The Relationship between the Brain and the Mind
Our thoughts create our physiology therefore it is believed all dis-ease begins in the mind. The brain is the physical organ through which the mind works. Without the brain there is no awareness. In this first week we explore the difference between our mind and brain and how they work together and affect each other.
Week 2 - The Relationship between the Mind and our Emotions
The mind is part of our energy body or manomaya kosha which works through the brain. It is from the mind and our thoughts that our emotions are created. In this week we explore the 3 universal energies in nature, called the gunas (svattva, rajas, tamas) that govern our mind and emotions.
Week 3 - The Subtle Layers of the Mind
During this week we look at the subtle layers of the mind and how they play a role in our beliefs and daily actions. We will explore how our perceptions create our thoughts, which create our emotions, which create our actions and how we live in the world.
Week 4 - The Roadmap for our Mind and Emotions
During our final week you will create Your individual Roadmap as a guide to understanding YOUR mind and YOUR emotions. Walk away with a deeper connection to how the state of your mind creates your human experience.

Module One - Build the Foundation Through the Physical Body
February 14 - March 12
Our physical body is the way in to understanding the emotional, mental, intuitive, and spiritual bodies. We'll identify our unique constitution, why and how this affects us, as a starting point for our Master Series.
Module Two - The Energy Body and the Power of Conscious Breathing
May 16 - June 11
We’ll explore the energy body and how it affects our physical body. We take a deep dive into these 7 vital energy centers called the chakras which are the center of our energetic system.
Science tells us that how we breathe is vital for our overall wellness. Learn the difference between breathing, conscious breathing, pranayama and how it’s vital for optimal health & wellbeing

We will deepen our understanding of our mind and how stress affects us, and learn practices to help us respond to the world around us rather than react.
Module Four - Exploring our Intuition and Spiritual Core
October 24 - November 19
We’re naturally intuitive beings. This week we explore the power of our deep wisdom, allowing our intuition to guide us.
We’ll look at various meditation practices and how stillness and silence are vital for overall health and mental well being.
At our core we are beings of pure love. When we experience this we can live our life on purpose and thrive.
