WHY YOGA?
This ancient wisdom tradition has been passed down from teacher to student for thousands of years. The word yoga comes from the sanskrit root “yuj which means to join, to unite, or to connect. Ideally the practice leads to the union of individual consciousness with universal consciousness creating harmony between the mind and body, between man and nature. So why yoga? Because if you practice regularly you will feel better!

WHY AYURVEDA?
Ayurveda, the science of life, grew up with Yoga and is often called Yogas sister science. It is the oldest continuing system of medicine on the planet. The guiding principle of Ayurveda is disease prevention by harmonizing the body's rhythm with nature. How we tend to the day or dinacharya is how we find that rhythm. These simple daily self care practices are at the heart of health and when combined with the practices of yoga make for powerful medicine.

We believe that incorperating the wisdom traditions of yoga & ayurveda is the perfect prescription for living & aging well!
